Join us on a Deep Time Walk: 16th July 2023

From Finsbury Park to Highgate Wood at 1 million miles per metre

Hello!

I’d like to invite you to join London Undergrowth and Get Lost Club on a psychogeological adventure, exploring 4.6 billion years of life on earth on a 4.6km walk in North London.

⏳ We’ll use this journey to explore ‘deep time’, walking 1 million years with every metre.

🌏 Along the way, we’ll pause to consider some of the key moments of earth’s history – from the formation of the earth, to the evolution of bacteria and the species we know today — and our relationship with it, in experiential, playful and meditative ways.

📍 Our route will mainly follow the Parkland Walk, a former railway line that now hosts London’s longest linear nature reserve. We’ll meet in Finsbury Park, and end our journey in a secluded spot in Highgate Woods.
